A strict version of Model UN

Adhering to the purest form of the Model UN exercise isn't necessarily attainable within a few days.  
Do you have any suggestions?

    Rearrange the desks into a "horseshoe" formation, then we can all print out pictures of our country's flag and tape it to the front of the desk. Then, we all bring up issues in our country today and tell a little about it and its history.
